Frequently Asked Questions
The Texas Rules of Professional Conduct prohibit us from qualifying ourselves as “experts” or “specialists” at this time. However, we have practiced almost exclusively family law throughout our individual careers. We also limit our courts of practice to ensure familiarity with the judges, local practices, and other local counsel.
We charge a $375 consultation fee; however, upon retaining our office the fee is directly applied to your trust account retainer with our office. So if you hire us to represent you, you benefit from a “free consultation.” If you do not retain our office, you pay for an hour of our time to walk you through the legal process, identify and strategize your goals of litigation, and address any questions or concerns you may have. The consultation generally lasts for an hour but will continue until your concerns are completely addressed.
Absolutely! We partner with LawPay to offer financing for your litigation with our office. At the conclusion of your consultation, we are happy to send an application link along with our Contract of Employment.
